Hi, I'm Kim, a bioenergetic practitioner and coach. I've been a Reiki Master for over 20 years, and I'm certified in various personal development strategies like NLP, tapping, mindfulness, and more. I'm an armchair scientist who geeks out on quantum physics, neuroscience and psychology. I'm passionate about lifelong learning and about storytelling. I believe stories shape our experiences, and that to heal and transform, we must tell empowering stories. I'd like to share a story of my transformation. Hopefully it inspires you.

In the spring of 2021, I was in a very unhealthy place in my life. I was tired all the time, couldn't focus, and as much as I strived to create success and fulfillment, I was just spinning my wheels, going nowhere. I felt trapped, out of control, and so very unhappy. I believed that I was unworthy of success, and that I had nothing of value to offer the world. And while I knew I should focus on feelings of gratitude and keep a positive mindset, I just didn't feel that on a consistent basis no matter how hard I tried.

Momz died a few months earlier, and I cared for her until the end. Dad was in and out of the hospital and looking at surgery. I was massively burned out, obese, and I'd just come off of 2 weeks on an antibiotic pump because my left eye had suddenly swelled shut. I couldn't conceive because of my polycystic ovaries, I had high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a fatty liver and borderline diabetes. I was looking at a life of chronic illness and medication. If I had asked a Magic 8-Ball about the future, it would have come up "Outlook Not So Good."

And what did I do about it? Nothing. I did nothing. I figured I was just genetically doomed to the same health issues my parents faced.

Fast forward to December 2021. I wasn't yet 40 years old, but I started having recurring chest pains. I became very scared that I would have a heart attack. I was over 250 lbs, eating a lot of junk, not exercising, and drinking. I was in a bad way: sick, tired, and believing I'd have a heart attack and die really soon. 

The fear of imminent death lit a fire in me. The realities I didn't want to face, the changes I didn't want to make became "do or die." And that was the beginning of my transformation. I committed to making lifestyle changes, and started learning everything I could. I kept trying new things and adjusted depending on the results.

While I was learning, I came across the Global Energy Healing Summit where I first learned about NES Health and bioenergetics. Immediately, I was fascinated. The intersection of energy medicine, physics, and technology and the new paradigm of healthcare really caught my interest, so, of course, I dove in. 

Bioenergetics promised to transform my physical health and also my emotional health, so my personal development wouldn't be hindered by trapped emotions and energies. All I had to do was scan and follow simple protocols, so that's what I did. I went all-in. It's sometimes been subtle, and other times very obvious, how the bioenergetic treatments have worked in me. Until I got my health under control, I was stuck in every other part of my life. Bioenergetics unstuck me, and helped me be where I am today. 

I'm running my own business doing what I love. I know that genetic inheritance is only a tiny part of health, so I no longer feel like a victim of my genes. I have a healthy body weight, my blood sugar is perfect, my fatty liver is healed, my cholesterol is normal, and my blood pressure is in-line. 

How did I do this? A lot of trial and error. Every expert has their opinion, and often the opinions are in conflict. It can be very confusing, and I am always a work in progress.
